Oils and fats - of animal, vegetable or mineral origin - are the main components for a variety of products such as fuels, edible oils or fuel oils. In production processes it is quite possible that some of the oils or fats leak into the process and waste water. A large part of the costs, caused by an oil leakage and attempts to purify the contaminated water, can be saved by the use of appropriate online OIW-analyzers (oil-in-water).
BQ-OIL Online Oil In water analyzer was monitored by ultraviolet fluorescence method, and the oil concentration in the water was quantitatively analyzed according to the fluorescence intensity of the oil and its aromatic hydrocarbon compound and the conjugated double bond compound absorbing ultraviolet light. The aromatic hydrocarbons in the petroleum form fluorescence under the excitation of ultraviolet light, and the value of the oil in the water is calculated according to the intensity of the fluorescence.it is the ultimate online analyzer for the determination of oil, fat, and grease in water.
